Israeli cinematographer and filmmaker, based in the vibrant city Tel Aviv.
Between 2018 and 2023, I delved into the world of cinema as a student at "Minshar for Art" college. This enlightening experience connected me to a network of valued directors, editors, sound designers, and producers with whom I maintain fruitful collaborations to this day.
In my journey of self-discovery, I delved into my studies, aiming to reveal the essence of my being and explore my passions. Through this journey, I discovered a deep fascination for the world of cinema. It captivated me because it had the ability to convey emotions with raw power - unspoken in cinematic moments, at stormy silence, in which the character takes a choice, splitting into infinite perspectives of the viewers until the character surprises and excites us.
We, who are made of the same material, may carry many feelings that require expression and yet we find ourselves afraid to express our truths in critical moments, openly and individually.
In my last film "PRISMA", I am facing a real and painful part of mine. At the catharsis moment, from single shot to single shot, the editing pulsates slowly within documentary limits. I leave no place for imagination and manipulation. We look into the eyes of Yoni, examine, and experience his silence.
This is an opportunity to express all in our hearts, to understand and connect to infinite points of view.
"Dialogue covers the eyes from the truth, while emotion finds expression through touch and gaze. This defining moment breathes life into my films." – Daniel Nahum
