Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Corey Allen studied photography in college where he gained a love for visual story telling. Over the years, Corey has experimented with still and motion photography and served as 1st AC for various Nashville filmmakers. He made his directorial debut with his short film, Dani, which he wrote and directed.
Dani was a first in so many ways for me as a filmmaker. The story started with wanting to find a way to personify ones own anxiety and I feel we captured that in a special way. Dani was my first screenplay, my narrative directorial debut, and I learned so much in the post production process. I hope you enjoy Dani!
