Dandelion Child
Dandelion Children are children of addicted parents.
The documentary film "Dandelion Child" accompanies Jasmin, herself an affected person and co-founder of the association Dandelion Children, on her journey to Portugal, where she visits her formerly heroin-addicted father. She and other affected people tell their story and report on the challenges and prejudices they and over 100,000 other dandelion children in Switzerland are confronted with. Experts from the fields of care, psychiatry and politics also share their views.

It is astonishing how little this topic is discussed in the public, considering how many children are affected by the abuse of or addiction to alcohol and/or drugs of a parent. Our goal is to create awareness with this movie and give those children a voice. We hope it is heard!
