José Núñez Maldonado (Chile, 1993) studied Filmmaking at ARCOS Institute of Arts and Communication; later he continued his studies at Academy of Christian Humanism University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Documentary Filmmaking. He began his work in the audiovisual area in 2014, producing the music video for the song “Saturday Nights”, by the band Slowkiss. The following year he produced Riola, a documentary directed by Andrea Arizmendi. During 2016 he co-directed (alongside Andrea Arizmendi) Días muertos, a short film made from found footage. In 2020 he released his documentary Bailar y luchar at AMOR International LGBT+ Film Festival (Santiago, Chile).
