Darn Good

In interviews with Dominguinhos, Trio Nordestino, Genaro, José Milton, and others, Darn Good follows Mestre João Silva on a journey through the backlands of the Northeast of Brazil to his hometown, Arcoverde. João delves into memories of his life, recalls the inspirations for his songs, and talks about his famous partnership with the King of Baião, Luiz Gonzaga. The documentary presents the marvelous life story of a roving half-illiterate boy who became one of the greatest composers in Brazil, and one of Luiz Gonzaga's main collaborators.
