Yellowhammer Motion Pictures was founded and is operated by writer/director Dan Fite, Jr. Dan began his motion picture making career in middle school; he was assigned to make a short homemade documentary for a media class in the seventh grade, and immediately fell in love with the craft of making a movie.
During high school, he gained professional experience by doing freelance videography for local businesses; he also worked on professional crews around the state of Alabama. During his sophomore year, he wrote and directed his first narrative short film, entitled "Artists". That picture went on to place third in the Judge's Choice Awards out of 25 other films at the Rocket City Film Festival in Huntsville, Alabama. His follow-up picture, "Walker", is set to premiere in October of 2018!
Dan has now graduated high school and has moved to Nashville, Tennessee. He is currently studying Motion Pictures at Belmont University. He is a sophomore.
