Largely self taught My start in film came by working for Tracy Moore Marable; a casting agent turned acting coach to the stars. As her assistant, I worked on film sets and music video shoots for top recording artists. Working with Tracy sparked my interest in filmmaking and it’s thanks to her guidance and reassurance, I was persuaded to pursue it. My first major production experience came in the form of working on a feature film with Seth Zvi Rosenfeld. A brothers kiss I learned so much about filmmaking during that film’s production and it solidified my desire to pursue film full-time. My short Angels in the hood was warmly received at festivals and venues around the country, including the Black Hollywood Education Resource Center in Los Angeles and the Mary Pickford Theatre. Recently, my film, Angels in our hood received the Special Recognition Award for Short Films at the Justice for All Film Festival in Chicago, Illinois.
