She is the director and screenwriter of the short film 'the solace of ruins' (2020), winner of the Best Screenplay award by the popular jury at FRAPA, which has been showcased in various festivals in Brazil and around the world.
Nanda Ferreira graduated in Multimedia Production from Senac and is pursuing a specialization in Cultural Production and Content Curation at Centro Universitario Belas Artes. Fernanda Ferreira works as a Cultural Producer in the training department at Itaú Cultural. She is the soundtrack director and assistant director of the short film "the solace of ruins," which won the Best Screenplay in the Popular Jury category at the FRAPA Festival and also received the Best Film award at the Na Quebrada Festival and the Best Art Direction award at the Muriaé Film Festival. She is also the screenwriter and director of the short film "Dalva from Rua Sete," her first original audiovisual production, currently in the distribution phase at festivals.
"Dalva from Seven Street" comes with the strength and urgency to tell the audience a story that could have a familiar ending, but urges to look at the women who set worlds ablaze so we, women from this generation, could be here today. The story gazes directly at women who are forgotten, discouraged, emotionally abandoned, and yet still resist through time.
