Daily Driven
This Short was made for TFSO VPOL 200 (Meaningful Things).
Daily Driven is a short dedicated to the car community. It is for the people that build their cars for shows, track, or just for themselves in general. The purpose of this story is to show
the people why this community dedicates most of its time and energy to these vehicles. Why it’s worth it at the end of the day. Whether that would be winning awards at a car show,
being the fastest on track, or being one with the car and making it look as unique as you are.
In the film, a car community term, ‘Daily Driven’ had two meanings. It is to reach goals and by passion. Oddly enough, that passion involves something that is daily driven, a car. We
can use this term for anything in life. It is our fuel to keep moving forward whether it would be for life in general or for our cars. Just as we see in the first part of the short, playing video games can be something people become daily driven about. There are professional leagues out there for a wide variety of video games and people would push themselves to become the best to ever play.
All in all, the film’s idea is to show the passion for the car community but also use the famous term to fuel people to keep moving forward for whatever it is they are going through in
their lives.
