Film & Television student in Tel Aviv University, Steve Tisch School of Film and Television.
As part of my studies I wrote, produced, directed and edited three short films:
"Sands" a documentary inside a refugee prison in Israel, screened on Channel 8, Israeli national tv. "The Ninth" military satire.
"Catch the Butterfly" a documentary made in China following a troubled woman making art of dead butterflies.
Since most of the content that promotes social issues addresses only those who already share the same worldview, I decided to create "Daddy Issues".
Growing up among men who consider violent behavior towards women as a subject of joke, it was important to me to try and reach the less aware audience.
Therefore, the show starts off with a light comedy visual language, which along the episodes changes dramatically and reveals the horrors hidden between the punches.
In order to present male characters from a woman's perspective, for change, all of the crew members I hired, except for one, were women.
