Many people in Jharkhand have an alcohol addiction problem. Children face issues like malnutrition, shelter, and quality education. This film showcases the difficult conditions in which one such kid is growing up. I crossed paths with him while shooting my very first documentary film Budhuva - https://filmfreeway.com/budhuvatheherbalist.

Ritesh Lohra's friends call him 'Daakoo'. Shooting the film Daakoo will remain a memorable experience for me because Ritesh Lohra is one of the most talented children I have come across. Sincere thanks to Anand Bora, Determinant Studios who funded the unavoidable expenses of the film. A special thanks to the revered documentary filmmaker of Jharkhand, Shri Biju Toppo Ji for editing this film for me. The objective of making the film was to help generate funds for Ritesh Lohra's primary education. Always donate an amount that is not easy to part with.
