DUMILAPASSI
Giovanni, Peppe, Saro, Nicola, Rocco...
Five of ten soldiers, survivors of an attempted deportation, following their rebellion.
Dumilapassi tells of love and passion, war and madness,
hate and brotherhood.
Dumilapassi is the cursed distance but also the blessed hope.
A mother waiting for her children.
A friend defending the honor of those at war.
A woman giving in to the temptations of a more comfortable life.
Those who think only of themselves and only look after their own interests.
And those who with great courage face the greatest difficulties, to
return to their own land.
While the Germans are laying waste to the whole of Italy.

ENGLISH
Born in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, son of a theater actress mother
and a father who was a photographer and musician, he dedicated himself to theatre, to music and photography since he was a child.
In the theater, he has been seen on stage since the age of 4 and is still active today. In music he began by studying playing the drums and studying solfeggio and electric bass, and then transferred his studies to guitar, piano and music production. Photography soon turned into videography and then became cinematography with the production of some independent series and his first self-produced cinematographic work "MALAMURI", in 2016.
Malamuri was awarded by Radio Milazzo for directing, received the Adolfo Celi award for merit and the official selection of the ICFF.
The film was reproduced throughout Italy, and then landed in Canada on two occasions: the Italian week in Montreal and the ICFF as a guest at the Guzzo cinema.
Hence the creation of the ventitreesimastrada production company and the subsequent creation of the film Dumilapassi.
In 2023 he was awarded for his career with the Messina Cinema Prize.
Since 2023 he has produced and worked on various feature films and short films, in the photography and direction departments.
