Director Statement

This film is inspired by the style of the Japanese video game Okami, as well as the works of Studio Ghibli. My works are usually fantasy, but they're not unicorns and rainbows, they have a dark and gothic edge. I love ancient, medieval and Victorian settings and like to mix and match these eras in my work. I also love the aesthetics of anime and Japanese video games, such as the Zelda series.
