I have a four year old daughter. I am an engineer by training, and when we were expecting our daughter, I naturally tried to engineer my parenthood. We attended those Lamaze classes, bought books about how to become parents, and researched tons of information. However, the moment was daughter was born, I felt that she engineered me as a parent, rather than me trying to engineer my parenthood. Everything that I had researched fell apart, and the only feeling that remained was I am father of this human being. This experience of becoming a parent stuck with me for a long time, and I always wanted to make something from it. DNA is a fruit of that experience.
