Demiven Knighton is a Wiregrass Georgia Technical College alumnus driven by a passion for storytelling. A promising young director, Demiven, started out as a small-town dreamer from Moultrie, Georgia. From an early age, Demiven's heart belonged to film. His artistic calling led him to his college program, where he studied under the guidance of John Patten.
In 2022, Demiven premiered his debut film, "The Middle Child - The Story of Tevin King," in his hometown of Moultrie. The film is about Tevin King, a football player who had to end his career because of an injury and how he made a profound impact on his community.
Today, Demiven Knighton is the founder of his own film production company in Atlanta. Through Rolling Content, he wishes to shine a spotlight on overlooked stories, giving them a voice in the world of cinema. As he continues his journey in the Atlanta film community, he hopes his journey serves as an inspiration to aspiring filmmakers everywhere.
As well as his documentary premiere, Demiven made a short film called "Alumni" that addresses student loan debt. He has another project called "Delivered" about drug addiction and loss that's in post-production. Demiven plans to continue making thought-provoking films that highlight social issues.
