Experiencing Interruptions?

Digital Journey

The year is 2027, technological progress continues to grow steadily, the development of artificial intelligences and the Brain-Machine connection are part of everyday life...
But not for us :)

Let's be realistic; 2 centuries can pass and CUBA will not have advanced at all, we have become accustomed to live in a "Constant Decay".

The Motus Projects is back for another year with the annual Parkour Film Festival. But this year is special... At least for Overway
It's the year they plan to do submissions for the first time. However, the world is not perfect.

With a broken camera, time against them and stuck in the golden age of analog they're left with little chance of trying.

When human creativity develops in limit conditions you learn to have limit solutions.

Enlightened by a crazy idea, is time to defy their technological limits and connect in a Digital Journey full of Culture and Parkour.

With this premise, we are pleased to introduce ourselves to the Festival, delivering audiovisual material that works as an analogy for the reality we experience during this project.

This festival was a challenge from the beginning, we had to learn a lot about 3D, composition, new artificial intelligence technologies and most importantly, the different ways to record parkour and capture movement.

This project, which served as an opportunity to materialize everything we learned.

It was difficult to record and edit everything considering that we could only do it on Sundays due to our current job.

As a growing group, this is only the beginning of what OVERWAY has planned for its future in Parkour culture.
It is lucky that there are projects like The Motus Film Festival as it was the impulse that motivated our creativity, giving us a reason to make this video.

It was a lot of fun integrating a lot of cultural references, making it an interactive video that is more enjoyable as long as you pay attention to the details.

We hope you like it!
