DES_CONSTRUCTIONS
In the North of France, a man receives a strange telephone message announcing the death of an unknown father. On the journey which takes him to Mayenne, his hometown where the funeral will take place, he recalls for a few moments the images of his childhood and adolescence.
On the train, he looks out the window at the different landscapes which follow one another and which remind him of the distance which separates his current life from that of his past. Each detail of this long symbolic journey reveals memories, sublimated or repressed, fantasized or real.

As a visual artist, I have been creating audiovisual creations for several years, which are broadcast in numerous artistic and cultural events locally and internationally (festivals, galleries), as well as on television. My work is structured around the notions of diversion and recycling of elements generated by “mass media”. My work includes various references to literature, art history and experimental cinema. The appropriation of iconographic, sound and textual elements on the canvas allows me to constitute a raw data base which I transform and formally organize around ideas of hybridizations, mixings and collages. All of my work takes the form of research and experimentation around still images, moving images and sound material. They take the form of film, video, photography, soundtrack, performance and interactive installation (…).
