D.A.R.V.O.
“D.A.R.V.O.” (an acronym for "deny, attack, and reverse victim & offender") tells the story of the complexities of a relationship from two contrasting perspectives. The themes of love, control, and validation are encapsulated, particularly how they can shift over time - without the catchy enduring melody.

Paul Lindsay's visual style was born years ago on a Saturday afternoon in Queens, New York when he discovered "Kung Fu" Theater where these pieces of cinematic art fueled his off-kilter imagination for writing and directing.
On Oscar night in 2004, Paul moved to Los Angeles to pursue his goals. He directed “The Bro Code” series (based on the show “How I Met Your Mother”). Years later, as a seasoned Assistant Director of shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Genius: MLK/X, Survivors Remorse, Dear Mama, Tell Me Lies, he has the opportunity to observe and work with many prolific directors, becoming part of the new generation of storytellers.
He has written 3 award winning pilots, 4 features and directed numerous shorts, including 2018’s provocative “OH BABY YES” and 2020's award-winning "11-95".
Paul is the resident director of the ISA’s Table Read my Screenplay competition and finally, a co-chair of the DGA African-American Steering Committee. All socials are @GOGETPAUL
As a natural story teller, Paul knows exactly what it takes to create a compelling vision and has cultivated a deep understanding of the filmmaking process as a whole.
