Damned Old People is a biting drama with a dash of acid humor that introduces us to Elías, a newly widowed, grumpy, and ill-tempered old man who thought life couldn’t possibly get any worse… until the cat showed up. Sick, exhausted, and stuck in the worst slump of his life, Elías must not only grapple with his own inevitable decline but also with a scruffy, obnoxious feline that has turned his nights —and the entire neighborhood’s— into a hellish symphony of meowing.

XavierChávezC. ha trabajado en todas las áreas de la realización en varias productoras y canales de televisión, fue Jefe de imagen en Ecuador TV, ha participado como director de foto en documentales y largometrajes independientes, como guionista/director, ha realizado varios cortometrajes con los que ha sido seleccionado y premiado en muchos festivales del mundo. Actualmente está en la finalización de su ópera prima el largometraje de ficción “Viejos Malditos” acreedor de reconocimientos nacionales e internacionales. Y en desarrollo de varios proyectos para largo, en los que también ha tenido reconocimiento.
