Brief history of the creation of the short film
Daddy got a job on Mars
It all started with the premise of writing a children's story. How difficult it is to narrate for boys and girls was the first intention. And to develop it we went as the narrative progressed, assembling a collage with real material, archive photographs and photos of the characters and places of the true story. Later, Joaquín Zelaya put together the characters, the settings, always mixing drawings with documentary material and clippings taken from various graphic formats. This is how we end our first illustrated story. Afterwards, we developed the animated short film and presented the INCAA animation contest. Once the award was received, we got to work with a whole team to give life to our little animated adventure that has been in the making for more than five years.
