hey ! I make movies !
The initial idea for project "Cyberdork" began forming a few months into the world of covid-19 and unexpected government shutdowns. Being young, with a lot of responsibilities to tend to such as school, jobs, and growing up in general, it can be hard and unsettling when the world becomes uncertain. Overtime, I suppose the lonely mood and longing for digital acceptance I'd seen over every corner of social media had been the initial feelings that would go on to inspire the biggest project of my life so far. I think even here, in 2021 people still feel alone, uncertain, and afraid and i wanted to think about the sweet feelings of what it feels like to make a friend, the child-like innocence in a moment like that. From the beginning the magic and wonder of being accepted and the story of friendship in times of isolation is ultimately what i think is most special about what we have created. I am so lucky to have worked with such a talented group of people on this project and I truly believe we have filmed something truly special. I look forward to sharing "Cyberdork" with everyone!
