Cutting Grass
This is a title sequence for a short horror animation called Cutting Grass, created by an amazing student team from the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. This film is around 11 minutes long and tells a story of vengeance. For this project, I created a 90-second-long title sequence for the film.

My name is Li-Yu Chen. I am a recent Motion Design MA graduate from SCAD.
I'm passionate about design and animation, using textures and objects to create unique compositions in my work. I explore the intersection of 2D and 3D techniques in my design and add depth to my animations with various effects. I enjoy researching each project to develop creative concepts and am interested in graphic design, kinetic type, and illustration, and more.
You can recognize me as a Motion Designer, but I prefer not to confine myself to any certain field. What I simply do is learning anything that can help me to visualize my ideas in different ways, from 2D to 3D and analog to digital.
