What are you willing to do to fit in?
Paloma is a teenage girl who lives every day on her social networks and aspires to unattainable standards of beauty because she feels dissatisfied with her body.
One day, while checking her inbox, she finds a video that her best friend sent her, explaining how to get the body of your dreams in 3 easy steps. With your reflection in the mirror and your mannequin as a guide, you begin following the video's advice to get the body you want. However, the cost of your choice will go beyond just an extra view in the algorithm.

Director Statement

"I wrote "Maniquí por Encargo" because I had an eye on the beauty and fashion industry which pointed to this rising tendency on size 0 again. I bare witness the normalization of eating disorders. And I consider it's an old issue that still resonates within today's society. So I believe this medium is the only way to effectively reflect on these problems."
