Writer Biography - A. N. Hunt

I write, I make movies, I take photographs, and I am as tired as you think I am. I’m married to the best man in the world, even when he drives me mad, and we have two kids that are ridiculously way more talented than either of us. Add my sister, the World’s Worst Therapy Dog, and four cats to that mix, and you’ll understand why I refer to our house as the Circus.

I write strange, interstitial work that refuses to fit neatly into any little category box and has been called everything from horror to science fiction, the last of which I find hilarious because there is almost always straight up magick in my stories. Unless I really am writing science fiction, at which point, there’s always nanotech.

Welcome to my world.

Writer Statement

I started writing as soon as I could hold a crayon, and my first stories were about a girl and her telepathic horse who lived in a house in the middle of a forest. I still think there’s franchise potential in there somewhere.
