The Culver Youth Film Festival celebrates youth filmmakers from all around the world in one yearly event. Hosted in Culver City, CA, our festival is entirely judged and moderated by award-winning youth filmmakers, so we are fully for youth, by youth. Our goal is to give an opportunity to young artists, allowing them to showcase their art without the competition of industry professionals and Hollywood budgets. We hope to compile the best of the best by allowing entries from youth all around the world, making for a truly unparalleled festival.

This year we are introducing two categories in order to showcase even more great youth films. The "18 and below" category allows young filmmakers in elementary, middle, and high school to showcase their work without having to be compared to college budget films. However, filmmakers below age 18 can still submit to the "Youth Short Film" category, where everyone aged 21 or below is accepted.

Over the years, we've received hundreds of submissions from all over the world, from filmmakers aged 5 to 21.

Our event is hosted online in order to allow more participants from around the world to submit and watch the fest safely from home!
