Director Biography - Craig Talbot

I'm a classically trained British actor who graduated from The BA Acting course at The Guildhall School in 2015. I've since gone on to produce my own films that have played at festivals around the world. My goal is to become one of the greatest cinema actors, who's movies connect with humans all around the world.

I started with the question "What makes a destructive cult?". Often when people hear the word cult their minds instantly go to ideas of religion, white clothing or rituals. As I began to research I found the three main factors are: A narcissist leader with a philosophy for life, control of the members to the point they feel they cant leave, and exploitation of the members.
Having previously been a personal trainer and having a love for fitness I decided to explore this area of cults. Then I used some great documentaries like "A very British cult" and "Onetaste" to structure a characters journey from joining and feeling trapped.

I'm very appreciative to have had such a supportive team who helped me create this movie. It felt like a very collaborative process every step of the way. We all share the collective goal of sharing universal stories that anyone in the world can connect to regardless of their race or ethnic group.
