Bio: An NC native and mother of four, Jessica B. Smith wrote, produced, and directed her debut film in 2019, which is a romantic-comedy feature titled Elle Rose. That film was a Semi-Finalist in both the Southeast Regional Film Festival and the Dreamachine International Film Festival. It was also an Official Selection in the Raleigh Art & Film Festival. Jessica holds an MFA in Creative Writing from National University (La Jolla, CA), and she’s a GED/ESL college professor and a four-time published author. She also wrote, directed and produced Elle Rose: The Series in 2020, which has a 5-star rating on Amazon Prime. When not writing, directing, producing or coaching and inspiring other creatives, you can find Jessica spending time with her husband and children.
