Filip Gašparović Melis, born in 1980, attended the School of Applied Arts and Design, specializing in graphic design. He further pursued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, focusing on animation. With a broad range of experience, he has worked on numerous projects as a graphic designer, illustrator, animator, technical director, editor, sound designer, producer, and director.
His acquired knowledge allows him to engage in all phases of the production process of digital animated films. As the president of the Croatian Association of Digital Artists, he assists young artists in mastering new technologies and tools, bringing them together on audiovisual projects to help them gain necessary experience and become more competitive in the world of digital media.
The main intention behind this project was to create content for children that was both fun and educational. We have tried to integrate attractive visuals together with pedagogical and academic knowledge.
The animated series explore relevant topics such as friendship, tolerance, inclusion, empathy and sustainability, whereas the mobile game focuses on cultural and geographical knowledge. To make these topics more understandable to the young audience, they are explored through the characters’ everyday experiences.
