Crystal Harris' professional journey started as an entertainment and sports journalist in New York. For 3 years, she was a sideline reporter for local and sports events with the Brooklyn Nets. In 2015, Crystal traded in her mic and notepad to become an English teacher and give back to students in need. She currently teaches English and Screenwriting to High School seniors looking to pursue a career in film.
Her passion to tell stories has landed her into screenwriting. Her TV pilot, Loophole is a crime drama based on her husband's experience as a former NYPD officer. Her 30 minute live-action and animated hybrid, In My Head landed her on ISA's Development Slate. She is named one of ISA's Top 25 Screenwriters to Watch Out for in 2021. She is developing another comedy, Queen Juju, about a plus sized actress who falls in love with a South African prince over the phone. Crystal is repped by Citizen Skull Productions.
