Crystal C. Rose is a Jamaican- Canadian actor. She was born in Scarborough, Ontario and from a young age, she always had a love for the stage and film. Her roots started off in directing approximately 10 years ago, where she directed her first short film and theatrical production that she took on tour to the United States. Crystal’s Theatre studies at York University led her to make the decision to pursue her passion for acting and filmmaking. Though life led her to focus on other areas during the past couple of years, it was in 2019 that she decided to follow her heart once again and continue to pursue her artistic career professionally.
During the peak of the pandemic, Crystal embarked on her directing journey and created a successful web-series called Malcolm and Monique viewed by thousands.
As a filmmaker, Crystal’s desire is to tell the stories of black and POC's communities from a Canadian standpoint and break the mold of how a BIPOC person is to be shown and represented in film/TV.
