If you can tell a good story, we want it as part of our event. At Crossings International Film Festival we hope to provide online screenings and a live festival. Both of which will depend on the quality of films we receive.

This festival will be hosted in Milwaukee Wisconsin in August 2024 which will be a hotspot in the country that year. Part of Crossings poetry, peace, and passion event, a charity fundraising, poetry slam with music, film and food trucks!

We are in search of those unique inspirational, thought provoking, well acted and directed films to make this an outstanding festival for all participants and our audiences.

@Crossings is about peace, and inspirational thought as presented in story.

Awards & Prizes

Awards will be selected by Crossings Jury, and will be provided in each of these categories:

1. Best Inspirational Film
2. Best Visual/Audio Film

Prize money awarded $100 for each of the categories.
Audience Choice Award $100 plus whatever is donated at our event.
Best screenplay will be awarded $100 and a recorded table read.

Other awards will be provided as we secure sponsors.

Rules & Terms

FILM & SCRIPT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
All films must be submitted in English or with English subtitles (if in a different language).
All films/scripts must have been made/written on or after 12/31/2021.
Short films must not exceed 15 minutes. Screenplays must not exceed 15 pages.

Filmmakers / screenwriters are responsible for sorting out the copyright on their own materials.

By submitting to us, you give us the consent and right to screen your film in front of a live audience, and, under special circumstances, online screening.
All entries must be submitted online via FilmFreeway. Entry fees are not refundable.

JUDGING
Official Selections: These are films that have been selected to participate in our festival. There is no guarantee your film will be screened if given an official selection. Films to be screened will be curated by our judges and program directors and will range from official selections to award winners. Official selection films are considered to be nominated for an award, and will be notified via email.

Nominations: These are all the films that have been nominated for an award in a category. Not all nominated films will be screened.
