The Crossed Swords Fantasy Film Festival is launching in 2020 and it will be a hub for showcasing the year’s most innovative and exiting indie fantasy films. This year’s Crossed Swords looks forward to screening a broad range of fantasy films made by international directors, and bringing the best of fantasy filmmaking to film-loving New York audiences.
Crossed Swords discovers, supports and develops new talent in fantasy filmmaking, providing a platform for emerging and established filmmakers from around the world. Recognizing the important role independent films have in the history of filmmaking, art, and culture, Crossed Swords aims to help empower the next generation of storytellers.
The Crossed Swords Film Festival will run November 6-8 2020, at the Cinema Village, a hugely popular indie cinema in downtown Manhattan. Along-side our cinema run, Crossed Swords will also screen online as a virtual festival hosted on the Eventive platform.
