In the year 2020, the COVID 19 virus spread around the world, killing millions. Frail seniors in long term care homes perished the most, isolated and in fear. Crisis in Care takes an inside look at where Canada’s long term care nightmare started in March 2020. Since then, thousands of care homes and tens of thousands of health care workers went to war against COVID 19.

Throughout his career, David has been an active participant in the shaping of many health care policies in Canada. Among other things, David has served as:

• Director of Communications and Chief of Staff, Mayor of Vancouver

• Executive Director, Office of the President, University of British Columbia
• National Policy Chair, Liberal Party of Canada
• Executive Director and Board Chair, Safe Care BC
Today, David resides in British Columbia with his daughter. He a Director of the BC Care Providers Association and CEO of a non-profit society that provides housing and health care services for seniors in Vancouver.
