The Crema Film Festival is a celebration of culture and arts that aims to encourage and support emerging, as well as acclaimed filmmakers from all parts of the world. It is a multi-day event that takes place somewhere in Northern Italy, in the beautiful town of Crema, home of the Academy Award winning film "Call Me by Your Name”.

Returning for a second edition in April 2020, the festival will take place during one of the most beautiful times of year in the region, and will provide an opportunity to discover new films as well as revisit familiar ones.

Because our first goal is to give a platform and an opportunity to filmmakers of all backgrounds and experience level, the submissions are free of charge. We accept feature-length films of all types and strongly encourage everyone with a powerful story and distinct vision to submit to our film festival.

A special screening of the film “Call Me by Your Name” will be held during the festival. You can also see this as an opportunity to visit all the gorgeous filming locations surrounding the area. This film holds a special place in our town’s history because it has helped promoting cultural development of the region. That is why there will be a special category in our selection, that will be dedicated to films celebrating regions and places with reduced exposure, in order to shed new light on them. We are hoping this will help to establish and broaden creative contacts between filmmakers from everywhere!

Join us in our journey and come watch our selection of films in a beautiful venue rich in history and culture. We look forward to hosting this amazing event and we hope to see you next year!
