Director Statement

Crag is a story that I am solely fit to tell. Taking inspiration from past relationships, I have a unique empathetic understanding toward the characters in the film. This allowed for a more 3-dimensional study on dependency within a relationship. My ability as a rock climber allowed me to tell this story in a way that is inaccessible to most. This led to a unique combination of form and function. Using climbing as a metaphor is something that comes natural to me, as I feel it in my day to day experiences.
