Hayden Jennings has spent the last 13 years writing and keeping their work to themself. And after all this time, they have finally worked up the courage to throw their hat in the ring. Their current journey as a writer is one full of the balance between fear of scrutiny and acceptance of criticism, all in the pursuit of improvement of their craft!

Writer Statement

I originally wrote Couriers as a feature-length love letter to a few of my favorite influences. Some, of course, maybe more evident than not. But, in every character and every scenario, I also see aspects of myself and my life.

Couriers is not only a paean to the art that has influenced my own. But is a landmark piece in my work, as, after 13 years, it is the first that I have publicly worn on my sleeve. Whether it connects with audiences or not, I will always be proud of this project, and be proud of what it meant for my confidence in my own work.
