Images derived from a trailer for the film Top Gun: Maverick are sliced and diced into a grid of thirty semi-autonomous and temporally dislocated rectangular regions. The original material, which is part mass culture entertainment, and part military recruitment tool, is disassembled through a complex algorithmic process.
