Mark Bristol is an award-winning writer-director who honed his craft as a storyboard artist for directors including Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Spike Jonze, Christopher McQuarrie, and Terrence Malick. His vast experience on over 80 feature films and hundreds of commercials enables Bristol to easily work with clients and precisely articulate his vision to cast and crew.

Bristol spent nearly 2 years designing, storyboarding and directing previs for all the action scenes in Mission: Impossible - Fallout. He will be back for more action on Mission: Impossible 7 & 8.
Bristol recently wrote and directed a campaign for the Upbring Foster Care Foundation which won 3 silver ADDY awards. He also served as writer-director on Episode 3 "Night Terrors" for Rooster Teeth Productions award-winning series Day 5.
Bristol is also a successful writer and director for video games with work on blockbusters like Doom and Battlefield 1. He also recently developed and wrote the graphic novel companion to Universal’s The Mummy.
Bristol has been invited numerous times to speak at the Austin Film Festival and SXSW on storyboarding, writing and directing for film and new media. He is a proud member of the Art Directors Guild, and he serves on the SXSW Film Festival Advisory Board.
The Climate Crisis weighs heavily on my imagination. I have two young children and I fear for their future. My fears and concerns manifested themselves in a love story about a man and a woman who must face the final moment when their dwindling natural resources finally run out.
