Cortosplash, “a short film for the summer” is the first international festival of "beached" short films in Italy. The festival will take place in summer 2018 in the beautiful jonian coast of Lucania. Don’t miss this show, made even more impressive by the charm that only the cinema under the stars can offer. The festival in fact, like every year, will take place on the beach, just steps from the sea which will be the background to the screenings.

    Our deep-sea inspired abstract film 'Blue Movement' was a semi-finalist. This was appropriate for this seaside festival because the soundtrack was made using a device called "The Octopus". The film itself was made with a bleaching (not beaching) process. We could not attend but the festival looks like a really fun event and the organizers seem to be energetic. The web page is really cool!
