Corrinne James is a Los Angeles-based film director and animator. She has worked with major label and indie artists such as Ice Spice, Snail Mail, Feeble Little Horse, Slow Pulp, Emily Yacina and Kate Bollinger. She has also made animated sequences for TV, including Hulu’s food docu-series Searching for Soul Food. She is also passionate about sharing her love of animation, frequently teaching workshops at Heavy Manners Library in Los Angeles, California. In her own films, James often uses hand-drawn techniques to wrestle with themes of guilt, purpose, and jealousy in a non-linear, impressionistic fashion.
