Shannon Phipps is a writer/director who loves to tell funny stories. She completed her first feature speculative script, Lost Luggage, in 2015 and has since written four additional feature scripts including Santa’s Boots, a co-write, which sold to Lifetime and premiered on the network in December 2018. She has also written one MOW treatment, three MOW pitches, a crime-drama pilot with teaser, and two web series. In 2017, she directed the pilot episode of the sitcom she wrote, Corporately Challenged, which was completed in April 2019. She is currently in the pre-production stage of two web series, which she will direct and produce in 2019.
Shannon Phipps is a writer/director based in Kansas City. After more than 13 years in corporate America, she quit her job to pursue her dream of writing/creating films. With years of material (i.e. corporate meetings, H.R. surveys, and climbing an endless ladder to nowhere) she decided to turn her tragic rat-race story into a comedy for the millions of worker bees across the planet to enjoy. Corporately Challenged is her directorial debut.
