Director Biography - Jordan Thomas Altdorfer

From a young age, I was making films. It started when I used my dads camcorder and continued to grow as I grew up. Not to long after I started making little shorts did I realise what I want to do.

I loved creating and telling stories and filmmaking was my outlet to tell those stories. I learned that I wanted to be a director and I continued following that dream. I would work on stop motions or convince my friends to act in a short.

After I graduated from high school I began attending Full Sail University. There I grew more as a filmmaker and also explored other areas of the filmmaking process.

I think I have good communication with actors. I like to talk with them and get an idea of what they think their character is like. Working with actors is something I like because it showed me that they could have a good idea I didn't think of.

This short was heavily inspired by the Twilight Zone. I tried to mimic as much of the look and feel from the show to create this eerie feeling that the show could give off. I worked with a friend in the music production course here at Full Sail to create music to fit the tone of the film.
