The film essay examines the journey of Hispanic individuals in the U.S., highlighting the tension between personal passions and cultural identity. It encourages viewers to celebrate their heritage while pursuing dreams in a new country, honoring both their roots and their aspirations.

Antonio Bocanegra II is a graduate student at Sam Houston State University pursuing his Master of Fine Arts in Digital Media Production. He currently works as a Video Consultant Contractor for Perry Homes and a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Sam Houston State University.
Antonio is an alumnus of the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX. In December 2022, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts with a concentration in Multimedia-Production and a minor in Photography.
Antonio is a seven-time National Academy of Television Arts & Science College Student Production Award winner from the Lone Star EMMY chapter for his production work. The categories include College – Public Service (PSAS), 2x College – Animation/Graphics/Special Effects, 2x College – Director, and 2x College - Newscast.
Antonio is an FAA Remote Pilot for drone videography and is experienced in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator.
