Cooking

Lola, a 70-year-old housewife, is cooking like every day, when her husband, a mischievous and sexsist man, turns to her in bad manners demanding her beer. After the infinite years enduring the same treatment, she is fed up and reveals herself, refusing to serve him. This triggers an angry discussion that will lead to a fatal outcome.

Director Biography - Marco Araujo

Marco Araujo Dolado (Madrid 24/08/2004-) began his interest in film at a very early age and directed his first short films when he was 11 and 12 years old. It is also at that time when he makes, along with several classmates, a documentary about the Republic and the Civil War: Una Guerra al lado de mi Casa.

In January 2017 and in 2019 she wins the City of Tudela Children's Short Story Contest in her category with the stories, "Doña Fina" and " Cooking". The last one will be the basis of his first serious short film, written and directed alone, made the summer of 2018 at the age of 13.

In spring 2019 he shoots his second short film " The Piano Room" where he also composes and performs part of the music, with the collaboration and participation of the musical group "La clave".

In 2019 he also wins the XXXVII Antonio Robles contest with the story "El libreto" on which he is developing the script of his next short film.

Already in 2020 his two main short films are selected in the competitions International Youth Film Festival of Plasencia, Cachinus de Cine, Daroca Prison and Film Festival, ESNE Feelmotion and Cinemajove.
