Container

We’re in a garbage-filled world, the protagonist of the film is a detective. He find one day an abandoned newspaper with a warning text, that aliens place containers all over the city. It takes our protagonist to figure out the role of these containers. He rings for several reporter, hoping to find the author of the dropped newspaper. Eventually, failing, he ends up in a pub. Then, thanks to a coincidence, he get to a place that might put a full stop at the end of the sentence, and can put an end to this problem.
