Consciousness

A body swap film about a white teen who gains a new perspective of life from a life-altering accident with a young black man. In time, he learns to embrace his new identity as a black man, the harsh reality that comes with it, and gets to experience unconditional love from a black mother.

This film incorporates W.E.B. Du Bois' term "Double Consciousness" and gives it a new approach in the perspective from the white gaze.
