Tonya is a 48-year-old married social worker with three children. She graduated with a master's in social work from UNLV. For the last 20 years, she's been helping underserved families. Most recently, becoming a police social worker. Her career as a social worker helped her passion as a writer. One of her first jobs as a social worker was at child haven, a children's temporary foster care program. Tonya wrote skits for the children to act and role-play. Since then, she has attended several classes learning the craft and has written several features, shorts, and TV pilots. Her goal is to become a shower runner, sell features and help others create shows that touch the lives of the unseen.
