The CongoFilmz Festival and Awards-Congo (CFA) is a sumptuous international event dedicated to individuals evolving and excelling in the film industry from Congo, Africa and elsewhere.
This platform’s primary purpose is to acknowledge, honour and encourage valuable contributors in the film industry from around the globe while entertaining audiences. The idea is to develop and instigate great interest in films with an emphasis on cultural heritage and the significant role in educating masses especially children and the youth.
This initiative will gather filmmakers and entertainers from Congo, Africa and elsewhere to:
- showcase their work
- celebrate their achievements by giving them awards,
- network with industry professionals and VIP from other industries.
CFA- Congo was launched in Kinshasa last November as the first prestigious cinematic festival in the Congolese community and aspires to position itself among premium events both locally and globally.
