Confessions of A Black Man
Nasir Green is 32-year-old educated Black Man. Single. No children. Lives alone. Works-remotely but recently had to take medical leave due to injuries that he received after being physical assaulted by the police in a case of “mistaken identity”. While Nasir was proven innocent, he “fit the description” of the suspect of another Black man, and now is dealing with the trauma from that event. In addition, Nasir’s younger brother was killed by the police two years prior, something Nasir has yet to process and has been depressed about ever since. While Nasir is very capable, intelligent, and loving, his past traumas cause him to have mood disturbances which changes the way he behaves and acts. Although Nasir is unaware, he shows signs for Bipolarism with manic episodes.
