Director Biography - Marc Basset

Born in Beirut, pursued a bachelor's degree in Biology and a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the American university of Beirut (AUB). Due to his engaging interests in multidisciplinary fields, Marc works as a medical sales consultant for hospitals, and a project manager for an NGO. Above all, Marc refers to himself as a passionate self-taught filmmaker. He works as script writer, actor, director, and producer. Also has written several books, and published one book "Fades in the memory of my flashbacks", and soon will be publishing a new book under the name of "The Unfolded Story of Sasha Soar."

During the past 3 years, he has fought for his childhood dream of becoming a filmmaker. He acted in several short films, tv series, and commercials. Wrote several screenplays, and directed a social campaign and a short film. By observation and dedication, passion and resistance, hard work and perseverance, Marc is continuing to pave his way for more exploration of the filmmaking industry.
